Free Computer Classes

Registration is required. All classes are taught by Arrowhead Library System computer trainer Sheryl Oberle. 
Call or visit the library if you have questions about the classes or would like to register.

E-Mail Basics - Wednesday, February 8 from 10 a.m.-12 noon
This session will introduce the basics of Electronic Mail. Participants will learn how to compose, read, spell check, send E-Mail, delete, and use the contacts (address book) feature while using a popular free E-Mail. Knowledge of Internet Basics and Introduction to Computers is required for this class. 

Spreadsheet Basics - Wednesday, February 8 from 1-3 p.m.
Learn the basic terminology and skills to use MS Excel 2010 as a tool for collecting and organizing information in a spreadsheet. Learn how to move around, enter data, insert and delete cells, perform simple calculations and more. Basic computer skills are required in order to participate in this class. 

Using RockCat OverDrive - Wednesday, February 8 from 4-6 p.m. 
Learn to access and use the OverDrive digital library to reserve and download eBooks, Audio books,music and more from the free library OverDrive site. Learn to use the shared online catalog updated in November 2011. Search the holdings of all seven Rock County libraries, place holds, review and renew items and more.
