Year Around Preschool Storytimes 
WEDNESDAYS at 10 a.m - No registration is necessary.

What is early literacy? 
 It’s helping your children get ready to learn to read. You are your child’s first teacher. At EFPL, Mrs. Sandi reads picture books to your children, leads in song and movement, and gets kids excited about books and ready to read.

HIGH SCHOOL STUDY NIGHTS
The library stays open late for several days prior to high school mid-terms and finals so student work in study groups. Refreshments served. Dates TBA.
FAMILY GAME NIGHTS!
Put down the remote and log off the computer. Come to the Library with the whole family to relearn those games from your childhood, and teach your high-tech kids some good old-fashioned board, card, and skills games. Date TBA.

 Registration is required. 
Arrowhead Library System computer trainer Sheryl Oberle is the instructor.


 Introduction to Computers - Monday, January 30 from 10 a.m.-12 noon
 This hands-on session will introduce participants to the basic operation of computers through the use of a laptop computer. Topics will include: keyboard and mouse operation and explain desktop features. This session is designed for the new computer user and keyboarding skill is not required.

 Word Processing Basics - Monday, January 30 from 1-3 p.m.  
This class goes beyond the Introduction to Computers class. Participants should have an understanding of keyboard basics from the first class and use of the mouse from previous class or experience. This class will focus on using Word 2007 ribbon features to create or edit a document including: cutting, copying, pasting, inserting, deleting, and formatting text.
